About This Lullaby

The Midnight Train To Dreamland is a children's song that makes twinkling images in my mind when I hear it. The magic train, puffing through the starry night, over hills, valleys, and precarious mountain ledges, with its enchanted cargo, is a perfect subject for a dreamy lullaby.

The sound effects in this lullaby song, the train bell, the puffing of the locomotive, the clicking of the horse's hooves, and the circus clowns' whistles add to the merriment of the little train's nighttime lullaby journey.

This babies' lullaby is soothing even though it is a little up-tempo, and fits in nicely with the rest of the lullabies on the "Goodnight, Mister Moon" lullaby CD.
