About This Lullaby
Summer's Lullaby was written for and dedicated to a beautiful little girl named Summer.When Summer was just a very little baby, I held her for a few brief moments, and marveled at how tiny she was, and how light she felt as I held her. Holding her was like holding a pillow of thistledown, and I felt I had to hold her securely to keep her from wafting away on a gentle breeze. When I wrote her lullaby, I knew that she played with angels and fairies and unicorns in the gardens of her slumbers, so they were included in her child's song. You will hear lots of pretty little tinkling fairy bells in the instrumental background of the lullaby. Although Summer is now older and a beautiful young child, she may know that the memory of how sweet and dear she was will always be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her when she was a baby.
